Have you ever been to Providence for their nightlife. We did once. Drove around for an hour looking for a bar or tavern that was open on a Sunday night (not late maybe around 5-6pm) to get a bit to eat, something to drink and maybe a band to listen to. After finding absolutely NOTHING open we drove down to Newport RI and had a great time down their instead. Lots of places to go, lots of live bands …

Oh, I don’t know, people seem to be really getting on board with Providence. Maybe it’s a quality of life thing.

Nothing Open? Hemmingways, Joes Bar and Grille, Ruth Chris, Fire and Ice, Cheesecake, Did you even Check Thayer Street even …. Park at the mall, And walk the whole city.

Providence Place Mall, Is open The whole night, And providence unlike boston is Navigatable. Unless you live in Boston, you are about to get lost…Or beeped at…for no reason whatsoever.

Also The providence River Hosts Romantic Gondolas, And the Waterfire with life Jazz bands and Salsa dancing lessons.

While not as big as boston, Providence Packs so much entertainment per Square foot thats actually worth Checking out…its unbeleivable.

Though i do agree, for historical presense Boston wins hands down….but thats why we have newport Muaha!

For a good night out i pick.
